For as long as I can remember I've had a love of art. As a child I was inspired by cartoons and comic books. Nowadays, with the advances in technology and CG art being here to stay I find the talented work of fellow artists such as those found on CG Talk as well as the current generation of video games to be my biggest inspiration. I'm currently completing a post graduate course at Humber College for 3D Multimedia for Game Design and am more than eager to get my foot into the industry door. My particular areas of interest are Character Concepts and Texturing (organic & non-organic). The programs I use are: 3D Studio Max, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and Premiere. I've still got a lot to learn but then again, who doesn't?

Khalid Muharraqi was born in Bahrain in 1972. His father is Abdulla Al Muharraqi who is one of the region’s pre-eminent artists. Having inherited his father’s talents but with a wide variety of interests, he studied photography and interior design at the Art Institute of Houston in the early 90’s. It was at that point that he became fascinated with using computers in developing design concepts. He soon became a member of the Society of Illustrators and worked with a number of the leading international advertising companies in the Gulf when he completed his studies. Eventually, he established his own company and had many successes winning awards for some of his advertising campaigns. After seven years however, he decided to leave behind the commercial sphere for more creative pastures; that was when Muharraqi Studios was born. In the short time that he has been developing his skills in 3D animation, Khalid has become one of the leading CG Artists in the region as well as gaining international recognition for his work. Aside from winning awards and getting numerous posts on websites and magazines around the world, Khalid’s skills have been sought after to create 3D visualizations of some of the major architectural developments in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Christoph Oberschneider, born 1983 in Salzburg, Austria, finished studying medicine at the Medical University in Graz, Austria, and is currently looking to find a possibility to combine his love for sports photography, skiing, nature in general and medicine in a single job, which is not an easy task. In 2012 he presented his movie ”Days of Powder in Sportgastein” in the supporting programme of the Salzburg Bergfilmfestival. In his artworks Christoph tries to transport the emotions that occur during freeriding. The illustration of the mountainside’s natural beauty in combination with the delight of movement shall carry away the spectators and let them feel the pleasure perceived by the athlete.

I'm a Computer Graphics researcher.Consider like that: while a lot of people are artists with mouse and tablet, I'm artist with math models and algorithms. I develop them to make possible new digital artistic effects or make designer's life easier.I have been studying and researching about Computer Graphics for more than 15 years.I develop a new free software for 2D drawing, authoring, composing and image processing. The main goal is to offer beautiful and very easy to use (1-click when possible) artistic effects for photography and drawing. This way, non-professional designers will have easy results and professional ones will have countless possibilities by mixing the ready-to-use effects. If you like, you can visit my site about Computer Graphics: http://www.picturetopeople.org.There are a lot of free effects there.

Hi I'm Cabrini and I am an amateur artist. I grew up along the east coast and spent my adult life in Las Vegas, where I finished high school and attended New Mexico Highlands University and graduated with a Master’s degree in Media Arts. I have recently designed a 5’ x 4’ instruction panel for Santa Fe Children’s Museum for a pneumatic tube exhibit. Along with the instruction panel, I illustrated a panel showing the history of pneumatic tubes. Next, I was asked to make a five-minute animation for New Mexico Historic Sites to target youth ages 5-10. It is a short that will be on their web sites and shown to schools to encourage kids and parents to explore the historical monuments and history New Mexico has to offer. I have always had a passion for animation and illustration. With that passion, I have been asked to hold workshops for children to show them how to make a simple animation with paper. It is a great way to be inspired. I am also working on graphic novels that deal with Hispanic folklore. This is a project that I am continuing to work on and hope to share with the world.
