I hold an Occupational Associates Degree in Digital Animation and Visual Effects focusing in Lightwave 3D and Adobe products, as well as an A.A.S. and a B.A.S. specializing in Virtual Reality Development.<br><br>My work in the industry began in 2006 as a jr. vfx artist on Battlestar Galactica, Bionic Woman, and Virtuality. Following that I worked on projects that included Queen Latifah's "Fast Car" music video, the new "V" series, Nickelodeon's "Best Player", "human Target", CSI, and several commercials.<br><br>For the last three years I have been working under the supervision of Dan Curry. During that time I have done VFX work and on set supervision at Warner brothers Television on NBC's "Chuck", worked on creating all new high definition VFX for the second season of Star Trek: The Next Generation for Blu-Ray release, worked as Lead Compositor for Warner Brothers Television on "Cult" and most recently the Fox production of "Crisis" which is currently airing on NBC.<br>?

KAYLEE BIRD was born and raised in Key West, Florida. Flung into the renegade scenes of New York City, she attended New York University, majoring in Film and Television Production, while specializing in Producing and Business. Post-grad, Ms. Bird has volunteered seasonally for the Tribeca Film Festival since 2011. Following, she worked for the Production Management Team for MTV’s long-running, Emmy Award-winning series, MADE in 2012. In 1994, I began to work in the Film/TV industry; I have worked a large range of jobs within the Art Department and Properties, on low budget, union, and non-union shoots, however I endeavor to learn more and gain more experience on new and challenging projects. I am a non-Union Production Designer and Art Director and am a Local 44 Prop Master. I am trained in color theory, design, painting, and sculpting. The thing about games that really gets me (in a good way), is that when you're creating characters and worlds for, say, comics, then you can create absolutely anything you want, and you can have these characters and worlds doing anything you want, and then you can look at them, sitting in their little boxes, not doing anything. With movies you can do almost the same, except of course that it takes a LOT more work to make something believable and to have it blend in realistically with it's surroundings. When done well it can be an amazing visually experience, but again, the image sits in it's little box and you can watch it move around. But with games, you can create the most unbelievable characters, place them in completely outlandish worlds that only need to be believable in themselves, put the whole thing it's little box, and then take control of the little box!
