The thing about games that really gets me (in a good way), is that when you're creating characters and worlds for, say, comics, then you can create absolutely anything you want, and you can have these characters and worlds doing anything you want, and then you can look at them, sitting in their little boxes, not doing anything. With movies you can do almost the same, except of course that it takes a LOT more work to make something believable and to have it blend in realistically with it's surroundings. When done well it can be an amazing visually experience, but again, the image sits in it's little box and you can watch it move around. But with games, you can create the most unbelievable characters, place them in completely outlandish worlds that only need to be believable in themselves, put the whole thing it's little box, and then take control of the little box!

I'm a young artist with dreams of artistic grandeur. I hope to eventually be up there with the great digital artists of our time but for now I'm getting paid for artworks of a lesser quality which certainly helps me get by. I am heavily influenced by fantasy/sci-fi novels, movies, comics, TV shows and games.
